Random (get used to it)
These earphones are hurting my ears. It was brought to my attention at the Verizon store the other day that some people have abnormally large ear holes. This lady was buying an earpiece and asked what this extra little hangy bit was for, and she was informed by my good friend Louis (of blank stares and blinking fame) that the piece helped people with large ear holes keep the earpiece from falling out of their ears (or, one presumes, into the cavernous abyss that is their ear). So I think my ear holes are really small, because those little walkman ear buds always make my ears ache until I just have to take them out.
Saw “The Prisoner of Azkaban” (or as the movie theater had it listed “Harry Potte”) yesterday. Poor Daniel Radcliffe was forced to participate in scene after scene with people who outacted him in every way possible. The killing blow came when the unfortunate thing was put in a scene alone with Gary Oldman. They could have at least cast Hillary Duff as Sirius to give the kid a fighting chance. Okay, maybe he’s not that bad, but he’s not getting any less wooden either. Also, they apparently miscast Neville; the kid pulled a Jerry O’Connell and lost all his baby fat. It was a little weird. Considering how complex that book is, I think the director did a good job. I don’t know what they’re going to do with the next one, they’re just getting to long to explain everything properly.
My nephew is graduating from preschool tomorrow. Getting the details about it from him is like playing a really convoluted game of ‘telephone.’ I can’t believe he’s almost five; I feel super old.
