Fireflies are really quite nice
That’s what I missed last summer in the Twin Cities, fireflies. I think they have them, but not nearly enough of them (though Louisville beats Chgo in that regard). It’s pretty funny how certain bugs inspire a smile with their little bright butts, while others leave me smacking the glass of my window and screaming “Bad bee!” It was pretty funny though, one of them was tracking my finger on the glass like it was a dog and I had a packet of bacon. I really need a pet.
Saw Fahrenheit 9/11 the other night. Pretty brilliant. The desire to find the leader of the free world and give him a good smack was reinforced. I think what Michael Moore said is good though: It might be preaching to the choir, “but the choir needs something to sing.” Too true. I love how Kerry isn’t even campaigning for himself anymore, it’s just Moore, Clinton, Moore, Clinton. I think Kerry’s def. going to be a one term president; just seems a bit useless. Then again, we all thought Bush was going to be pretty innocuous and he turned out to be the Anti-Christ (or the Pro-Christ to look at it another way), so maybe Kerry will startle us all and be super-amazing guy.
I’ve been so tired all day. I had this strange dream last night. The subject was actually pretty mundane (except for the presence of Sarah Michelle Gellar in the role of my friend- I need to stop watching Buffy before bed), but the dream was tactile. I could feel this grey shirt that someone was wearing. I already dream in color, but apparently my brain decided to go for the extra effort.
