Cubs Game Interactions
After the Cubs game, there was the usual barrage of people asking for money. I gave this guy all the Dunkin’ Donuts coffee vouchers I’d gotten from the game. And we had a chat. It’s kind of… I don’t know… arrogant? but I felt really good that I seemed to make him feel good without giving him money. I don’t know. He hugged me when seeing me a bit later. I have really mixed feeling though because I feel kind of condescending being like, “I have bettered the life of the homeless!” It just felt good to make a connection with someone that society says I shouldn’t.
I was also just chatting with everyone. I’m friendly.
