Completely Unnecessary

This morning found White House Press Secretary Tony Snow saying this about the Foley controversy:

And there have been other scandals, as you know, that have been more than simply naughty e-mails.

One presumes that Mr. Snow is talking about President Clinton’s ill-advised tryst with a consenting woman of legal age.

Then again, we have to remember that these exchanges are just “overly friendly,” according to House Speaker Dennis Hastert. Not say, something that would find you interrogated and thrown to the ground by gun-wielding police officers on Dateline NBC: To Catch a Predator.
