Take Opportunities as They Come
Wow. Wonkette has my favorite story of the election cycle. I know it was ten days ago, but the hits just keep on coming!!!
Rae Hart lost her bid for a Minnesota senate seat to incumbent, Satveer Chaudhary, a practicing Hindu of Indian descent. Instead of calling Chaudhary to concede, as is customary, Hart sent him an email. And while that’s just tacky, what ratchets it up to hilarious is the fact that the email only briefly touches on the concession, as Hart makes the most of this opportunity to convert Chaudhary to Christianty!

Man, God is the best! Personally, I like to imagine the look on Chaudhary’s face as he reads the email. I mean, I’m all for believers trying to spread their faith (actually, I’m not; I don’t really believe in proselytizing), but I can think of more appropriate times. I mean, at least do it in person!
