Oh Dear God,
I bought more shoes. Wait! In my defense, I had a $30 in certificates to DSW that I clearly had to spend before I left (though the certificates are themselves rewards points for buying far too many shoes in the past). And, these are reasonably practical. Let me explain:
- They are dressy enough to wear out, but casual enough for everyday wear. The other shoes I’m taking to Oz do not fall into these categories.
- They are small enough to pack.
- They’re really cute.
In summation, I’m a beast, but only a small one. And! They were on sale, so they only cost me $10 with the certificates. Given, it’s $10 I wouldn’t have spent otherwise, but - in light of their portability, utility, general desirablity - money well-spent.
You can’t argue effectively against Utilitarianism, and, I submit, this is also the case for the buying of good shoes.
What you can argue against is the apparent blogging for blogging’s sake, as I have apparently done today.

I’ve told you time and again! You are not a beast! You just have a large torso. Gosh.
On the bright side I finally found my way to your blog. YAY!
