Maybe. There was just so much to hate about it, and I’m incensed that I was unable to procure books for my courses again today. (There should really be a separate bookstore for people who are over 22 and don’t feel the need to stand in the middle of aisles, staring at nothing for long periods of time.)
Chris is right about the dearth of good dresses. But there weren’t even that many to make fun of, with Nicole Kidman as a notable exception. Aside from a smattering of bows that should never have been created, much less worn in public - meh. Where is Bjork when you need her?
Four Four, however, had a stunning picture/caption:

I nearly died. The man playing Eddie Murphy just kept doing the same hand gesture over and over. It was creepy! And all those old ladies they’d hired to portray Helen Mirren portraying the Queen? Creepy!
Finally, from the other side of the world I offered to help Ryan Gosling with the pain of his non-Oscar-winning-though-totally-deserving-it-ness, but I don’t think he heard me. Sigh.
