Pat Fitzgerald - Undistinguished
The Washington Post reports that Patrick Fitzgerald, the US Atty out of Chicago, was ranked amongst those who “not distinguished themselves.” Aside from generally fighting corruption and saving babies or something, Pat Fitzgerald was working on something else in March 2005.
Hmm… what was it?
Oh yeah. The CIA leak investigation. Rest assured, I’m sure that had nothing to do with his sub-par rating. I mean if one thing has been clear throughout this investigation into to the attorney scandal it’s that none of these people were replaced because they weren’t willing to play ball.
The term ‘play ball’ wasn’t used at all; the term used was “chafed against Administration initiatives, etc.,”
