This Is a Stupid Apology
But to anyone serving in Iraq and Afghanistan, and to everyone living in Iraq and Afghanistan - we’re sorry. This misbegotten adventure that our higher ups thought was so important; we realize that it’s just the play things of the overly indulged. I watch the videos of soldiers and laymen in Iraq and Afghanistan, and I weep because I realize that we could not do any worse by you and the countries that you represent. We’re sorry. It’s not us… but it is.
