Thwarted
How come I never get as much done as I’d like to on the weekends?
I didn’t make it up to Ceres yesterday because I talked to my mother until 12:30, and the market shuts at 1. I then puttered around until I had just enough time to run up to the nurseries in Fitzroy and N. Fitz to buy veggies, but not enough time to actually plant them. Managed to nearly be late for the second film yesterday because of more puttering around (and the tram and the rain, which made me go back and put in my contacts).
Despite an earlyish start this morning (lord be praised), I didn’t manage to go to the markets, buy a new bin, or even go up the road to have the bike people look at my new frame. I got some compost and did my planting, but that’s hardly an amazing accomplishment for an entire weekend.
And now I’m hungry and have no veggies to go with my tofu because I didn’t go to the markets. Sigh.
Oh yeah, I talked to Sam for about five hours thus far this weekend. And I can still sing Light in the Piazza. Not a bad weekend afterall.
Still hungry.
Update: Have eaten. No longer hungry. Watched Grey’s Anatomy for some reason.

Also watching Grey’s - thanks, that was good advice - wine, chocolate and Grey’s. I’m a horrible cliche…

Don’t thank me, thank Belkin47.
God bless you, sir - wherever you are (though odds are likely that you live within spitting distance to the West).
