Update: And if I do, it’s because Chris Matthews says stuff like this (paraphrase):

To sum up, I’m not sure if I want HRC to win the nomination, but I sure as hell want her to win tonight. I don’t want this to be John Kerry by the first week of March all over again.
More debates! More discussion! Issues! Plenty more patronising misogyny from Chris Matthews (who pinched HRC’s cheek today despite her being a sitting senator)!
Update II: MSNBC’s coverage in the last 1/2 hour has all been about women breaking for Clinton, Matthews commenting (again paraphrasing) that ‘Clinton may have done well enough in the debate on Saturday to woo women who wanted to vote for her anyway’. They’re reporting that 57% of voters in NH were women and that 47% of those appear to have broken towards Clinton. Chris can’t get enough.
Update III: Ah! I have to go birthday drink now! Why can’t they do these things earlier in the evening?!?!

Oh not my bday, but thank you. I watched Clinton’s victory speech via closed captioning and got in a debate with the bday girl, which is all I can really ask of an evening. And now morning. Late morning.

i do worry it’s creepy i read your blog, given the voyeuristic appeal of blog-reading generally (especially if i’m allegedly just one of two people!), but i do like to hear your take on things, and i’ve got some free time, huh?
