Did you know that Barack Obama has A WHITE GRANDMOTHER?!?!? I think this is just placement - but, guys, feel free to let ‘pastor’ go over to the other line if necessary…
Le sigh. See this is what is wrong with modern media. The CNN ticker can’t convey the complexity of a two-pronged argument.
And the point of the speech was breaking that down. How can you take a complex rhetorical argument and break it down to half a line? Turn. the. ticker. off. sometimes, CNN. It was so distracting to watch as I was trying to listen to the next president be all Kennedy-esque and stuff.
Truth be told, the speech was pretty good. The story about the girl who had to eat mustard and relish so her mom could get cancer treatments? That stuff hits me harder now that I live in a country where we just go to the doctor when it’s necessary.

I’ve had a mustard sandwich, it’s pretty good actually. Articles keep saying there was a ‘mixed’ reaction to the speech but I can’t find anything outside of trolling on messageboards. The only downside from this speech I can see is that it’s so solidifying, if hillary wins the nomination how can an obama supporter vote for her now?
