Hey Housewife,

I think I spotted where you might have gone wrong: reading my blog for necessary information.

You should really delve into the 'rape' tag if you want melancholy; the Paul O'Neill thing was hilarious!

But, to answer your question, no, it's not really news. Just bored and writing about my dreams featuring the Clintons! Thanks for reading though - I'll try to chipper it up.

Do you fairly think this is news? I like and read your blog to get necessary information, but sometimes melancholy kills me

Yeah, it was more the language than the sentiment. It would have been better in a short story... not about Hillary Clinton. Perhaps I was just feeling generous towards Ephron because we both have dreams about HRC.

We were talking about gender yesterday in the media subject I'm tutoring. At the lecture, Nick asked for descriptors of women. He got emotional, nurturing, etc. but I was so surprised that no one said 'bitch.' I had to bite my tongue.

As to your assessment of the race - I heartily agree. That being said, then, does she really have a prayer of winning? Esp. after the press has another month to define her (with her campaign doing nothing to help the image that's being created, mind you).

Even if she manages to win the nomination, is she really going to be able to match up with the lovefest between the media and McCain?

I would think this quote would piss you off in light of past posts, to me it seems to be again saying everything that hillary is, has been defined by her marriage and bill.

The boring fact is simply that the longer this thing drags on the more we're going to be asked to define why we like obama better and why we dislike hillary, ad nauseam.

Not that I think it's time for her to drop out, (certianly I don't believe that the press would be getting on mccain's foibles and general doubletalk and unworthyness anymore than they have in the 8 years of past mccain runs), but the pair have been pretty well defined at this point.
