It’s obvious. Why else would he run two TAL’s back to back that are designed to make me homesick and/or weepy? Last week’s episode featured Lula Cafe, mere steps from my Logan Square apartment. This week’s show revolves entirely around the Golden Apple at Lincoln and Wellington, just four blocks from where I grew up.
Ira, I implore you, do some shows on the South side. Perhaps a show about Elgin or beautiful Naperville? I assume it’s beautiful; I’ve never been there. I have almost no attachment to Hyde Park - go nuts. Stay out of my haunts and homes, Glass. Hands off.
