Location

Ivy Tech Community College has many locations throughout the state of Indiana. The main campus is located in Indianapolis, with smaller campuses located in Columbus, Evansville, Fort Wayne, Gary, Lafayette, South Bend and Terre Haute.

Two and four-year programs

Ivy Tech Community College is the state’s largest public postsecondary institution and the nation’s largest singly accredited statewide community college system. Real Estate Classes

Class topics

While the type of classes may vary depending on the school, most real estate education programs will offer similar topics. Classes may cover real estate law, principles of real estate, real estate finance, real estate appraisal, real estate development, property management and/or real estate brokerage. Real estate education programs may also offer courses on mathematics, economics and business as they relate to the field of real estate.

Credit hours

All students must complete a total of 120 credit hours to earn an Associate degree from Ivy Tech Community College. A minimum of 15 of the last 30 credit hours must be completed at Ivy Tech. Students may transfer a maximum of 64 credit hours from another college or university.

Certificate and degree options

Ivy Tech Community College offers two real estate classes: a certificate program and an Associate’s degree program. The certificate program is designed to give students the skills and knowledge necessary to become a licensed real estate salesperson, while the Associate’s degree program is designed to prepare students for a career in real estate management.

2. Apply online or print an application and submit it to the Admissions Office on your campus of choice. Applying online is free!
3. Meet with an admissions counselor, who will help you select the right program and complete your enrollment paperwork.
4. Register for classes!

Application deadlines

Ivy Tech has an open admissions policy, meaning that we accept all students who have a high school diploma or GED and meet our basic immunization requirements. You can apply online at any time, and there is no application fee.

We have rolling admissions, which means that we review applications and make decisions on a rolling basis throughout the year. We encourage you to apply early to ensure that you get the classes you need.
